newflare wants newflare.net to be usable by as many people as possible, including visitors who rely on assistive technology. This statement describes the measures taken, the limitations we are aware of and how to reach us.
Our approach
Accessibility is treated as part of building and maintaining this website, not as a separate project. Whenever a page is added or the design is changed, we check that the content can still be read with a screen reader, operated with a keyboard and enlarged in the browser. This statement covers the pages published under newflare.net.
Information in another form
This website is not the only way of obtaining information from newflare. You can telephone us on 01243 530418 during normal business hours, write to hello@newflare.net or send a letter to 14 Orchard Mews, East Row, Chichester PO19 1TH. Where a page is not accessible to you, we will read the information out by telephone or supply it in plain text form.
What we do
Pages use semantic HTML: headings follow one order, lists are marked up as lists, and link texts stay meaningful out of context. Navigation and main content form separate regions, and the language of each page is declared for screen readers. Images that carry information have alternative texts, decorative ones are marked as such.
Text, links and buttons are shown with a contrast of at least 4.5 to 1 against their background. Sizes are set in relative units, so text can be enlarged in the browser without content being cut off, and links, menus and form fields can be used with the keyboard alone.
Feedback
Please report any accessibility problem by email to hello@newflare.net or by telephone on 01243 530418. A short note on the page, the difficulty and the device or assistive technology involved helps us reproduce the fault; we usually reply within five working days and explain what we will do about it.
Known limitations
Some pictures are general illustrations with a short alternative text rather than a full description.
Standards
Our goal is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. We describe the site as partially conformant, because a few elements still fall short of individual criteria; pages are reviewed regularly and problems are fixed as they are found.
Preparation and review
The present statement was prepared on 20 October 2026 on the basis of our own internal assessment. We inspected the principal page types with a keyboard, at an increased zoom setting and with a screen reader; no external audit was commissioned. The statement is reviewed once a year and after any substantial change to the website.
